This is my Empire front cover final and original idea. The two images are very similar because I felt that my original idea would be successful if I used the right editing techniques to show a professional magazine cover. A few changes that I made from my original idea is the added featured article, which is the "HORROR REVIEWS". The reason for adding a featured article is because the central image looked like it was missing something, there was too much room to spare. The other changes that I made were because the facilities were not available to me. The first one was the title for 'Revenge', I could not find the right lettering that matched the genre of Horror or that it didn't look like cartoon lettering. The second change was the Flash, originally I
wanted a double Flash overlapping each other, but I could not find one that suited the genre or that had enough pixars to use in photoshop. The changes that I made to the bar code, the Empire slogan, the website and the advertisement above the EMPIRE Masthead were made because as I looked at Empire Magazine cover in more detail I notice reoccurring techniques of this features. In order to make my magazine cover look like a professional Empire magazine cover, I had to use the same techniques they do with techniques they use every magazine cover.
